There are a very small number of people experimenting with this mode and it is very difficult to make a contact. It also requires a strong signal level to maintain a workable link with another station. Setup requires you have two sound cards in you computer or a USB headset. The digital voice is fantastic but making a contact is a real challenge.

The best way to give FDMDV a try is to join the WinDRM group on google where you can arrange a schedule and find out when nets are taking place.
